Tip Top Transportation was established in 1987 as a response to the public demand for a distinctive quality limousine service. Tip Top began as a one man operation by answering the phone, washing the car, and chauffeuring when an eventual job would come their way. Eventually however, news of their service began to spread from their small client base and reservations were made more and more regularly. It only took a short while for them to realize the secret to a successful limousine business: provide your clients with great service, give them a clean car and a knowledgeable, courteous chauffeur. After operating the business for one year, and determined to adhere to this business philosophy, Tip Top began to advertise and market their business much more aggressively, and had completed 1991 with an impressive $300,000 in sales.
Over the next few years, Tip Top remained devoted to growing their business. In 1992, concerned with many issues related to the industry, Tip Top joined and took an active role in the Association of Limousine Owners of Maryland. Serving on the board of directors, and chairman of the ethics committee, they played an integral role in developing the safety and ethical conduct standards that the association abides by today. Tip Top Transportation now operates a growing fleet of 11 vehicles, employs 25 professionals, and is closing in on $1,000,000 in yearly sales. Most importantly however, is Tip Top's commitment to operate by its basic business philosophy day after day, and client after client. |
